I'm me.
I'm a Christ centered fellow that is self employed and working on a career in writing. Fiction, and all it encompasses is my main passion. Creative Writing is what my college paper claims is my specialty. But I'm currently looking into the non-fiction magazine market. Specifically the Christian market.
My friends and family call my Hal. So feel free to do likewise.
I didn't realize it till recently, but I've been blogging for over a year. I just didn't know it was dubbed blogging. I've been sending out an eMail to family and friends detailing the Odd News around the world with my own personal brand of "insight." It began as an exercise in writing for me really; a way to start the day rolling and get the juices flowing. And hey, it's always fun to read about the bizarre and stupid. Like G.K. Chesterton wrote in his book Orthodoxy:
In short, oddities only strike the ordinary people. Oddities do not strike the odd people. This is why ordinary people have a much more exciting time; while odd people are always complaining of the dulness of life.
Soon I found myself commenting on the separation of the righteous from the unrighteous. And thus, while smiling at the Odd, The Great Separation was unveiled.
So my brother and I discuss this project where we hope together to detail the "conspiracies" of Satan as he attempts to deceive Christians and cause them to compromise their citizenship in Heaven with the citizenship of this world through the popular media. All in the hope to wake Christians up and entertain too.
We'll see how it goes.
Curious about what I believe? Here you go:
