In my previous post, Passion of Christ Update: Tickets, the Vatican, and a Cameo, I noted that I had received an eMail from them about advanced ticket sales.
Well, I checked the web page today and found that the ticket page which was supposed to have info on pre-purchasing the tickets is now reporting:
Advance Ticket Details Coming Soon!
So I'm not certain what's happened to the details. It would be nice to think they were overwhelmed with calls.
I did call the number and I received a voice message that asked me to leave a name and number with the amount of tickets I would like to purchase for my ministry and that someone would get back to me ASAP. I didn't leave my name. So I'm guessing right now they are just collecting names and numbers at the moment until they have the logistics worked out on selling tickets for particular theaters.
So if you wanted to call and purchase one or two tickets, even though they'd be happy about it, I think they're looking for group numbers at the moment.
I think, I'll see how many in church would be willing to commit to going to the movie and then give the number a call.

I wouldn't be surprised if, as the release date nears, that the web site wouldn't be set up for on line sales or at least would direct folks to on line ticket sales sources.
