This One's for You Sara! - Tired of being held captive by your dreams? Tired of running in slow motion from the monster bearing down on you with lightning speed? Tired of running and jumping and flying in the air for a few brief moments only to fall uncontrollably back to earth?
Well than, I have the dream machine for you.
It's called the Yumemi Kobo (Dream Workshop) by the Japanese toy company Takara. With it you can set your dreams up (almost) before you go to bed.
To work the gadget, the owner has to stare at a photograph of what they would like to dream about and then record, in their own words, how the dream is supposed to pan out.
Once users are sleeping, the gadget goes to work by combining the voice recording, lights, music and aromas to stimulate sleepers whenever it detects rapid eye movement - a sign that someone is dreaming.
You want it now, don't you? Sorry but no. It's still in testing as of this posting. The company is testing it on the employees.
Um... Testing it on the employees? I wonder if the company is programming the machines with the dreams they want them to dream?
