But it looks so small on my 17 inch monitor! - Michael Kanellos of CNET News.com reports:
Morgan Freeman's production company says that next year, it will release a movie on the Net at the same time it[s] film debuts in theaters, a move that could challenge others to follow suit.
Actor Morgan Freeman's production company is Revelations Entertainment.
My big question for this big screen actor is, 'Why?' It just doesn't make sense to me. Kanellos mentions in his article that doing this sort of a thing is a way to help sell products. But isn't the movie the product?
Maybe they want to pay to watch the movie on the computer, but the heck with that. I'd rather see it big and large with a super sound system.
Yeah, yeah, I know. Home entertainment system not desktop computer.
But hey, what home entertainment system comes close to the big screen? You'd have to be really, really, wealthy to afford a private big screen and a THX sound system or the like.
I don't know. I just to don't get it. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
