Sea-Doo, Steer-Doo - The Cobra Jet Steering website now has video online of what this new invention can do for your personal water craft.
Here's a link to the video page that features four videos of jet skis equipped with the new steering system. One of the videos shows how easy it is to pull a skier behind a Seadoo two seat-er. Another is a video of a local news cast report on the steering system.
I was talking with Jeff over the phone the other day and he told me that it is so easy to maneuver a jetski equipped with one of these systems that he took his dad, who had never been on a jet ski before, and had him riding within five minutes as if he had been doing it for years. In fact he enjoyed it so much he didn't want to come back to shore.
There's a fifth video that had me shaking my head in amazement. It shows what this steering system will do on Jet Boat. Way cool.
This may not mean a whole lot to you land locked folk that don't know a jet ski from a car - of course, with this steering system it looks like you don't need to know the difference - but to someone that lives on the door step of the Gulf of Mexico it's pretty neat stuff.
If you own a jet ski you really need to check this out. The Cobra Jet Steering is custom built for your jet ski and typically takes around twenty minutes to install according to the tech page. If you've got questions you can call this guy. His number is on the home page.
Jeff is also looking for investors.
Cobra Jet Steering is patented in the United States. U.S. Patent 6561858 and Patent 6702630. The combined patents have a total of 52 claims.
The combined patents are registered with the patent cooperation treaty to qualify them for International Patents.
These patents provide a wide range of retrofittable steering systems for jet propelled water craft of all types. These designs can be applied to recreational - commercial and military uses. At this time all the intellectual property has a solitary owner, and has been funded by same.In an effort to bring this intellectual property to its fullest potential the owner seeks investors.
The ideal investor would be a hands on person, persons or company with the financial capability and expertise to accomplish the owners goals.Other investor opportunities would include persons or companies interested in funding patents in any of the member countries that participate in the Patent Cooperation Treaty. Said investors would obtain a considerable and generous portion of the patent rights in the country that they choose to fund. This would require the investor to handle the production and marketing in those countries. All the details may be worked out and agreed upon between the owner and investor.
Any potential investor may contact the owner via email at jeff@cobrajetsteering.com or contact attorney Dennis Lapointe of Mason and Associates at info@masonlaw.biz.
