Which is more valuable? - Ania Walters died at the age of 22 months because her mother's seventeen-year-old boyfriend got angry when she messed with his Sony Playstation 2. The trauma he reportedly inflicted caused cranial bleeding from which Ania could not recover.
Henry K. Lee records the Oakland, CA, incident for SFGate.com. Lee reports:
The boy, whose name was withheld because of his age, initially claimed that Ania had fainted for an unknown reason. But he later admitted that he had hit Ania in the head, angry that she had played with his Sony PlayStation 2 video game, police sources said.
This horrible situation is just another example of how life has been cheapened to little or no value in much of our culture. Largely in part to laws such as Roe vs. Wade. Of course the lack of carrying out justice for crimes such as rape and murder also contribute.
