Your Papers, Please. - Looks like a couple of pastors have been told by park officials that they cannot hold Baptisms in the Rappahannock River in the Virginia Falmouth Waterfront Park.
Officials at a public park tried to break up a baptism, claiming the religious ceremony could offend nearby swimmers.
Rev. Todd Pyle, pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, Va., was allowed to finish the ceremony at local Falmouth Waterfront Park last week, but the church members were asked to leave.
More Baptisms are planned and should there be more trouble then there will be a lawsuit and the ACLU has said they will join with the churches in the suit. Which is kind of like swimming with sharks.
