They hate you because of me - Brian Savio O'Connor is a man who needs our prayers.
Brian is a Catholic who is from India working in Saudi Arabia as a cargo agent for the Saudi Airlines. He was stopped near his home in Riyadh by a religious police officer and asked why he didn't attend the evening prayers. In Saudi Arabia the official religion is Wahhabi-ism, a strict interpretation of Islam.
When Brian showed the officer his papers that said he was a Christian three more men attempted to grab him. Brian escaped into a nearby shop but the men followed him in and beat him then carried Brian off to a religious police office where the torture and threats of death came with the demand to convert to Islam.
[Brian O'Conner] told friends who visited him in prison he then was dragged to a religious police office where his legs were chained and he was hung upside down.
For the next seven hours, his captors alternately kicked and beat him in the chest and ribs, O'Conner claimed.
According to International Christian Concern, a U.S.-based advocacy group that first reported O'Connor's arrest, he was "whipped on his back and soles of his feet by electrical wires," causing intense pain.
Do not fail to remember in prayer those who are imprisoned and treated as lambs for slaughter because they claim the name of Christ.
The Great Separation continues.
