Update on General William Boykin.

A warrior with faith. - Some of you may not remember General William Boykin. I posted on him back on 2003.10.17: Satan Behind The Terrorism War.

He made the statement that Satan was behind this current war on terrorism. Well, this caused a "liberal media" imprecation and an investigation was set into motion claiming he was maligning Muslims.

The investigation is over and Boykin is the sacrifice to appease the "media gods."

A U.S. Army general violated Pentagon rules by failing to properly clear speeches in which he described the war on terror as a Christian battle against Satan and should be punished, according to an inspector general's report obtained by Reuters on Wednesday.

The Department of Defense's watchdog agency said Lt. Gen. William Boykin, a top-ranking intelligence officer, used official data in some of the 23 religious-oriented speeches he gave after January 2002 which should have been cleared.

Michelle Malkin points us to a report by Paul Strand on an Army Ranger that refutes the notion that Gen. Boykin said anything derogatory about Islam or Muslims. The Army Ranger claims that Gen. Boykin's words are being taken out of context and he has the context to prove it.
