Oops. - But there is no hero's parade for this fellow.
When a truck driver spotted a parked car in front of a bank in Ohlsdorf, Austria, he thought it was a get-away-car.
Why? Because he saw a crowbar and other odd assortments of tools in the back seat of the car.
So he crashed his truck into the car and then called the police.
He then called the cops to report his bravery, who raced to the scene just as the car's bemused owner, a father of four who is a self-employed carpenter, returned to his vehicle.
Instead of getting praise for his actions, the lorry driver now faces a £4,000 fine and losing his licence, plus the cost of repairs to his own vehicle.
Kind of makes you feel sorry for the truck driver doesn't it?
