They hate you because of me - HJCB World Radio's Newsdesk in an article titled, "Unidentified Attackers Damage Church, Pastor's Home in Sri Lanka," reported that on the 1st of this month that a group of attackers broke into an independent Church in Korakandamulla, Matugama, Sri Lanka. After damaging the church they turned upon the "pastor's living area":
In front of the two young children, the men slapped the pastor's wife and cut off her hair with a sword, and then set fire to some furniture.
The Newsdesk goes on to mentions that a week later a group of Buddhists demonstrated and gave a petition to the local government saying that their "patience and tolerance" was reached with Christians and promised more violence unless something was done about the "Christian fundamentalists."
Set this month aside to pray for the persecuted Church.
The Great Separation continues.
