Arise Prophets of God.

Declare the words of the Lord! - There has been a war in the heavens for a number of generations now. A war likened unto the wars that took place in Exodus 1:22 and Matthew 2:16. This war is greater in fatalities than the previous wars because the enemy is more desperate and fights as a rabid and wounded beast who is cornered without hope.

This is a spiritual war with many battle fronts here in the physical world. One of the worst fronts has now spread around the globe and touches every life. It is a war front that is supplied by organizations and nations around the world. This war front like the previous two wars seeks to end the lives of children. This war front is abortion.

In Exodus 1, Satan knew that the Lord of hosts was moving against him and was going to raise someone up out of Abraham's decedents. So Satan moved through the Pharaoh who ordered the two Hebrew midwives to kill all Hebrew males the minute they were born. The midwives refused and when the Pharaoh found out he ordered all male children to be drowned in the Nile:

“Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: "Every boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live."” (Exodus 1:22 NIV)

Despite Satan's attempt to strike against the Lord and His plan for humanity, the Lord protected Moses and even hid Moses in the enemy's house.

And so the Lord moved against the kingdom of Egypt held in the grip of Satan and delivered Israel to prepare a nation called to be God's people; His representatives to a world in sin.

In Matthew 2:16 we find the next great war. Again Satan was aware that Heaven's Throne was about to move against his kingdom on earth and raise up another deliverer. So Satan moved to block God's plan and twisted Herod's heart ordering again the death of Hebrew children:

“When Herod realised that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi.” (Matthew 2:16 NIV)

So here again we find Satan trying to hamper the movement of God and this time that movement was Christ, God incarnate. Christ came to crush the serpent's head and restore the relationship between man and man's Creator by being the propitiation for man's sins.

In 1973, another decision to end the lives of children on a grand scale was unleashed by the prince of this world. For more than thirty years, Satan has schemed to end the lives of millions of children in America under the guise of legality and individual rights. But this hasn't happened in America alone. Across the globe from China to South Africa, governments and organizations, like the United Nations and Planned Parenthood, have promoted the murder of the unborn as a natural right and a simple form of birth control. In fact there are some evidences that these organizations have even sought means to encourage the pregnancies and abortions through their programs of sexual liberation.

Recently the independent consumer watchdog group, Consumer Reports, released findings that the condoms that Planned Parenthood gave out ranked as the worst condoms on the market [hat tip to Ambra Nykol].

Maria Gallagher of LifeNews.com reports:

A new report by a consumer watchdog group confirms what many pro-life organizations have been saying for a long time: Planned Parenthood distributes condoms to teens and young adults knowing they will fail, leading to a pregnancy and allowing the abortion business to gain a new customer.

Why has Satan undertaken this tactic yet again in his war with the King of Kings? Given the previous two Biblical events I think we can surmise that God is at work in a mighty way here on earth.

Christ said:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12 AV)

It's hard to imagine doing something greater than the works of Christ but our Savior proclaimed it, so it is truth.

Despite the attack by Satan on the womb, I am certain that there are people that God has and is raising up to proclaim His word to this world. I believe that we are beginning to see glimmers of God's plan in motion as a generation comes to adulthood in this electronic age of information's reign.

These people which God has and is calling forth will be prophets.

What is a prophet of God?

A prophet of God is a person who proclaims the message he or she is given by God. Easton's Revised Bible Dictionary defines it thus:

The whole Word of God may in this general sense be spoken of as prophetic, inasmuch as it was written by men who received the revelation they communicated from God, no matter what its nature might be. The foretelling of future events was not a necessary but only an incidental part of the prophetic office. The great task assigned to the prophets whom God raised up among the people was "to correct moral and religious abuses, to proclaim the great moral and religious truths which are connected with the character of God, and which lie at the foundation of his government."

We can be sure that there are prophets in our midst now who are being prepared to do battle for the Lord.

Where can these prophets be found in the world today?

I believe we can find many of God's chosen on the Internet right now in the new medium of weblogs.

There are a fair number of righteous bloggers whom I believe the Lord has raised as His prophets. They proclaim the truth revealed in God's word and how that truth impacts and should guide the world. They wage a battle for the minds and souls of people around the globe and proclaim in this age of wars and rumors of wars, where nations fight against nations, and famines and earthquakes destroy, that there is truth and life in Christ, that there is a higher standard outside ourselves by which we are called to live.

But what is it for which the Lord is preparing these prophets?

I don't know. Like the time of Moses and Christ, it is hard, if not purposefully clouded, to see the fullness of God's plan till after it comes to fruition. Perhaps we are in the final days, however long those days will be, before Christ's second coming. If so, then the purpose for these prophets will be to strengthen the Bride of Christ so that she is not found lacking oil for her lamp.

Satan will not be silent when faced with these prophets. He will vehemently attack them through their jobs, the people around them, and through other bloggers on the Internet as he has done to some already. But these prophets should count it all joy for such attacks are the evidences our heritage in Christ. In such sufferings we are shown that God's judgements are right and that we are worthy of His everlasting kingdom. We know too, that such trials produce in us perservance, character, and hope.

So arise prophets of God! March against the principalities and strongholds of Satan's realm and set the captives free!

This is a wonderful thing. There is always a place where God will meet His people, even in the midst of persecution. Hopefully, we will learn how to go there.

ACLU Defends Portales Street Preacher

Portales--Some deft legal work by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of New Mexico succeeded in freeing street preacher Shawn Miller from the Roosevelt County jail yesterday. Portales police arrested Miller for disorderly conduct on April 17th because allegedly he was yelling at passing cars. Miller maintains that he was merely "preaching the word of God."

ACLU Executive Director Peter Simonson said, "Mr. Miller has a guaranteed right to stand on a street corner and proclaim his faith in God to all who pass by. He wasn’t harassing or intimidating anyone. He certainly should not have spent time under lock and key for such a minor incident."

The ACLU became involved after Miller’s wife, Theresa, sent a letter requesting assistance. She and her two children had been with Miller on the day he was arrested. He was preaching in the lot of an abandoned gas station that is commonly used by street vendors. "I was preaching the word of God and not hurting anybody," said Miller.

The ACLU’s defense of Miller produced an unlikely collaboration with the American Family Association, a group that is at times at odds with ACLU positions. Attorneys from both groups consulted with each other and Miller, working together to defend him on First Amendment grounds.

"Both organizations are highly principled in their philosophies and policy positions," said ACLU Staff Attorney George Bach. "Where those principles overlap, we are eager to collaborate."

Miller was released on bond and still faces charges of disorderly conduct, in addition to resisting arrest.

Good news:
The D.A. issue a “nolle prosequi” in your case, which means she “will no further prosecute” it (you may hear it called a “NO LE PROS”). More informally, it is generally taken to mean that a district attorney either did not feel pursuing the case was in the interest of justice or that there wasn’t enough there substantively to pursue it. Technically, they retain the right to re-charge you at some point, but that is highly unlikely in your situation.
I can fax you a copy of the document if you need – and will mail you one today.
At some point, I will take a look at the NM law to see when exactly, we can also request that your arrest record be expunged so that you are not dealing with even that in terms of background checks. But for now, you are currently free of all charges, pending trials, bail, etc.

... but in no way do I consider myself a prophet. If things are going the way Christ said they would and these are indeed the last days, let's look for the Two Prophets of the Book of the Revelation ...

Revelation 11

How do we know who they are when they arrive? Their prophecies will ALWAYS be right on the money, that is, always correct, always coming true, always precise ...

Deut.18:21 And if you say in your heart, 'How may we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?' -- 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously, you need not be afraid of him.

Don't forget this simple formula, and you'll never fall for a false prophet.

Reverend Moon, Benny Hinn, Hal Lindsey, and many others have failed the test. Dump them as possibilities, Completely dump them! If they make a single mistake, dump them forever.

God makes no such mistakes.

Google any False Prophet's name and add the phrase "unfulfilled prophecies" and such phrases and you'll see how many there are who fail the test.

Furthermore, one way a modern day Christian can become a prophet (for a day, so to speak) is to be placed in prison and brought before those who seek to judge him/her and kill him/her. Take a look at these verses and you'll see that you should in no way or manner prepare what you are going to say to defend yourselves. Sing irrelevent songs all night, bug the other prisoners, say it's your right to behave like a total fool, accept no opportunity to prepare your speech.

Matthew 10:19 - When they deliver you up, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour;

Mark 13:11 - And when they bring you to trial and deliver you up, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say; but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.

Luke 12:11 - And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious how or what you are to answer or what you are to say; 12 - for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.

It's not a bad deal God is offering to those who are willing to do absolutely no preparation whatsoever, he/she gets to be a part of prophetic history. And, the ones who judge us will have a list of questions they might not really want the answers to (but that's besides the point really); wouldn't you want to know why evolution is wrong or why there are certain contradictions in the Bible? The only problem is that we won't live long enough to enjoy sharing the information with many others, because those who will be asking the questions will be murderers. So, expect experts in all fields of knowledge to ask you all kinds of questions. I wouldn't be too surprised if they all have the mark of the beast on their foreheads or right hands, so the answers they get won't do them much good. These are terrible times we will go through. Be prepared for the biggest ride of your life.

We've all known this for two thousand years, it's no big secret, this information has been available for the longest time.
