He lists seven (a good number) principles which guide the decision for a just society going to war.
Jon is a U.S. Air Force chaplain and begins the post with a line of questioning he sometimes gets from civilians:
"Do you agree with what our military is doing overseas?"
"Yes."
"How can you be a religious man and support the taking of human life?"
"Well, that's not an easy question to answer. Do you have a couple minutes?"
