It's Only Genocide When None Survive.

Dead organization walking. - The U.N. is pretty much pointless. Self serving. An organization where small weak men are handed the reigns to the worlds pack horses and allowed to govern themselves as long as they pledge there is none greater than themselves.

It's now been announced by the aforementioned organization that there was no genocide taking place in Sudan.

Daniel Balint-kurti reports for the AP via MyWayNews:

Sudan's foreign minister said Monday a U.N. report concluded that no genocide was committed in his country's Darfur region, where tens of thousands of civilians have died in a nearly two-year crisis.

At U.N. headquarters in New York, diplomats confirmed that the report did not find that Sudan had committed genocide, but they said it was very critical of Sudanese government actions. The report was expected to be circulated in New York on Tuesday.

Well, if genocide didn't take place, but something was worthy of being critical about, don't you think some sort of justice is necessary?

According to Balint-Kurti's report, the United States diplomats to the U.N. do think some justice is needed and plan on proposing to the United Nations Security Council that these men who committed the atrocities face criminal judges.

Of course we all no how useful the U.N. Security Council is, don't we?

Interestingly enough, recent peace talks, something the U.N. has been striving for, kind of fell apart.

Now "insurgents" are trying to get a different mediator. Like America and the European Union. So maybe they really do want peace. We shall see.

When is Freedom of Speech NOT Freedom of Speech?

Riddle me this, Batman. - The answer: when you, the student write a paper that takes the opposite point of view of your college.

Check that. The opposite side most likely should be conservative in nature as well if you really desire to find the answer to the question.

Case in point: Scott McConnell.

Brian Hecht reports on the CollegePublisher Network:

While students are guaranteed the freedom of speech, LeMoyne College's recent actions against a student have raised questions of whether or not academic papers are the place to exercise this right.

LeMoyne College expelled Scott McConnell, a student from its Masters of Education program, for writing a paper in which he advocated the use of corporal punishment in schools, he said.

McConnell originally recieved an "A" minus for his paper.

Apparently that was all he heard concerning his paper until the next semester when he found they would not allow him to enroll in anymore classes.

Ah, yes. The wonders of those elite educators.

Iraq Voter Turnout Surpassed Predictions.

Wow! - Give God the praise.

AsiaNews.it is reporting that Iraqi's cast their ballots in large numbers despite the violence and threats of death by evil men.

Threats and violence have not prevented a massive turnout of voters in Iraq's first democratic elections in 40 years. According to unofficial sources in the Iraq's Independent Electoral commission, 72% of voters had cast their ballot by 3 p.m. (local time). The U.N.'s representative to the Electoral Commission of Baghdad, Carlos Valenzuela, stated that voter turnout has "surpassed predictions".

Can you imagine all those purple fingers. Wow. You know that might set a new trend. Instead of those "I Voted" stickers we all get in America we could do like the Iraqi people and dip our fingers in a bowl of ink.

Of course the purple fingers also make it rather easy to identify voters for the insurgents. Which is even more of a testament for the desire of Iraq to embark on the course of democracy.

A Prayer for Iraq and Her Elections.

Spiritual Warfare Wages. - If you haven't done so already, it is time to get down on our knees and go to war against Satan and his minions seeking to destabilize and hijack the Iraqi elections that are coming up in two days.

It is indeed a "Historic Moment" not only for the nation of Iraq, but also for the world. But there is a battle being waged beyond human eyes by dominions of the air led by the prince of this world and he is directing the murders by the insurgents with the hope of continuing his rein if fear in Iraq.

We Christians have a responsibility to come against those strong holds though they be on the otherside of the world.

So I offer the following prayer and if you have a blog and post a prayer, eMail me your link.

My prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father. Worthy is Your name and Your deeds are righteous and just and merciful.

You know the plight of the men and women in Iraq. You know the fear and death they've breathed for years upon years because of Satan and the evil tyrants he has controlled.

I know Father, that the people of Iraq have not gone unnoticed by You. I know too, that You created them to be free like all men and women. Free to govern themselves; equal one to another, man, woman, and child.

Today, Lord, there are evils that seek to harm and stop the Iraqi people's path to democracy. Against those evils, Lord, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by His blood shed upon Calvary's Tree.

Bind Satan and his minions, Lord God Almighty. Raise up Your armies against those who would do harm and protect the people of Iraq.

Surround the soldiers that serve from other countries, Lord. Protect them and keep them from harm. Allow them to see clearly the traps laid by the enemy and react accordingly.

Lord God, may Your will be accomplished. May Your glory be acknowledged by the people of Iraq and by the world.

U.N. Tells Italy that Immigrant Women have a Right to Prostitution.

The world's pimp. - I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Throw the United Nations out with the rest of the trash.

LifeSiteNews is reporting that the United Nations has told Italy, who has been trying to stop the more harsher forms of female exploitation by fighting prostitution, that by fighting prostitution they are actually discriminating against women.

The United Nations Committee that oversees compliance with the UN Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) pressured Italy Tuesday to halt discrimination against immigrant women. The UN committee felt immigrant women in Italy were unfairly restricted from entering into prostitution.

Aldo Mantovani, Deputy Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations, presented his country's actions to fight prostitution as a positive development for women in the country. However, as pro-life and pro-family lobbyists have frequently experienced, UN ‘experts’ often have a radically different view of reality that is alien to most humans on the planet.

Why is this discrimination against immigrants? Well, immigrants are less likely to own homes.

You see prostitution is apparently legal in private homes and making it illegal in public places would harm immigrants that don't own private homes.

One U.N. "expert" asked Italy to reconsider their law against prostitution because, as LifeSiteNews put it, "people won’t always do what they are told."

I guess we need to get rid of all laws then. I mean if some people won't obey speed limits or obey the "Thou shall not murder" law then we just need to get rid of the laws.
