A medium evolving. - Hey, want to read a book or see a movie without paying for it? Aw, come one, who doesn't?
No strings attached? Well, okay, maybe a few strings. Like posting a graphic on your weblog and giving your opinion on something.
But then isn't that what you already do if you have a weblog? Gee, I hope so, otherwise your probably not posting anything. Which means you're contributing NOTHING to the Blog Experience.
Stacy L. Harp (what a great name, I just love the way it sounds) has launched a publicity service for folk wanting to get their creations promoted throughout the blog world in a unique way.
Stacy writes:
We exist to help people in the media, such as authors, filmmakers, musicians and others get their message out to a targeted audience of consumers.
Using carefully selected and trusted Bloggers to review and promote products, Mind & Media is the most affordable source of advertising online.
We work within the Christian community and also promote secular products.
Now, wouldn't you like to be a part of that and get to read some books and other great stuff all for the price of a review and some space on your blog?
If the answer is, "No," then fine, be that way.
But if the answer is, "Yes," timid, forceful, or otherwise, than drop Stacy a line at mindandmedia@gmail.com.
As a reviewer you will here's a list of what the strings are:
1. Accept the free book and read it.
2. Post one review on their blog or blog the book as you read it. For at least a month.
3. Put a graphic and Link that I will provide on the blog the whole time you have the book.
4. Tell others to join in on the fun!
Silly me. I forgot to post the link to the weblog. Mind & Media.
