If you find the Bible studies helpful in your growth in the Lord, please consider giving a donation through the button below. Right now all donations will be used to pay for the week long mission trip I'm taking in July to Tampa where I will be working with an organization that ministers to migrant workers, homeless, needy, and children. I've not been notified of the final cost by our group leader yet, but it's expected to be around $400-$450. Thank you.
And here are the questions contained in that study:
- Read through the questions of this Bible study then read chapter 4 of John and write down any questions and insights that come to you.
- In verses one, two, and three, why didn't Christ baptize anyone, but leave it to the disciples?
- Why did the Lord leave for Galilee? Verse 3.
- Who are the Samaritans? Verses 4-42.
- What does Christ mean in verse 22?
- What kind of worship is Christ speaking of in verse 23 and 24? How is it different from the worship of the Samaritans on the mountain or the Jews at Jerusalem?
- What do you think the social condition of the Samaritans was?
- What is Christ speaking of in verses 35 through 38?
- What is the lesson we are to learn from verses 39-42?
- Compare the coming to belief of the people in Samaria to that of the incident with the royal official and his household (verse 46-53). Is there a difference?
May the Holy Spirit guide and lead you in your desire to know Christ more fully.
-Hal
