Can you help? - It's good to see that across the blog-o-sphere people are stepping up to the plate yet again to help out in the face of this disaster.
If you can contribute I suggest clicking over and making a donation to The Red Cross.
I have a photo album here of a trip my brother and I took to New Orleans in 2003. It was a beautiful city. Yes I was highly disappointed with the perversions that I found in certain areas of the city, but I also took joy in the people we met and talked with throughout the city.
So it saddens me to see the damage which continues. The photo album also features pictures from other areas we visited on the Gulf Coast as we traveled to New Orleans. Everyone of those spots has seen some damage from Katrina or hurricanes in the last year.
Above all be dilligent in lifting the lives of those effected before the Lord of Hosts.
“6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. 7 ¶ Thou [art] my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.” (Psalms 32:6-7 AV )
