Seeking as for hidden treasure. - Here is the Bible study questions for John chapter 13.
Again I must apologize for being slow in releasing the questions for this Bible study series. The last month and a half has been... difficult and pact full of a number of things which have demanded my attention.
I'm hoping next week to roll out chapter 14 also, as the following week I will be on vacation.
You can download the PDF file here (John 13, Bible Study). (Right click and select the save option to save it to your computer. Clicking the link will likely load the pdf in your browser.)

If you find the Bible studies helpful in your growth in the Lord, please consider giving a donation through the button below. Right now all donations will be used to pay for the week long mission trip I'm taking in July to Tampa where I will be working with an organization that ministers to migrant workers, homeless, needy, and children. I've not been notified of the final cost by our group leader yet, but it's expected to be around $400-$450. Thank you.
And here are the questions contained in this study:
- Read through the questions of this Bible study. Now read chapter 13 of John and write down any questions and insights that come to you.
- How would you classify the mood of this chapter? The mood of Christ? The mood of the disciples?
- What are the key verses in this chapter?
- How does Christ show His love to the disciples in this chapter? Verses 1-5.
- What is significant about verse 2? Consider what Christ does for all of the disciples, verses 10-11, 18-30.
- By washing the disciples's feet what was Christ doing for them?
- What does Christ mean in verse 10 about needing only to wash the feet for a person who has had a bath?
- Did the disciples understand who would betray Christ after He told them who it would be?
- In verse 31 Jesus says that the Son of Man and God are now "glorified." How is this so?
- What makes the new command that Christ gives in verse 34, 35, different from The Ten Commandments (or is it different)?
May the Holy Spirit guide and lead you in your desire to know Christ more fully.
-Hal
