- Read through the questions of this Bible study. Now read chapter 16 of John and write down any questions and insights that come to you.
- What is Christ's main concern in this chapter?
- Why did none of the disciples ask Christ where he was going this time? Verse 5.
- Why are the disciples feeling grief? Verse 6.
- Why is it good that Christ is going away? Verses 7-15.
- What does Christ say the Holy Spirit will do? Verse 7-15.
- In verse 8 Christ lists three things of which the Holy Spirit will convict the world. How is this task accomplished?
- When Christ tells the disciples in verse 16 that, "In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me, (NIV)" of what is He speaking? How does he explain it to them? Verses 16-22.
- What is significant about Christ's statement in verses 26 and 27?
- What is your favorite verse in this Chapter?
