There's got to be an easier solution. - I finally gave in today after much procrastination and teeth grinding and reformatted my laptop computer.
Installing all the Microsoft updates is taking me forever! But the system is running a lot faster.
Next step is restoring my music files and docs. Oh, and key programs like WordPerfect.
Probably the easiest part of the operation.
Of course now that I mention it, Murphy will likely try to show his unwelcome face.
