President Obama's Volunteerism Agenda Bans Members from Sharing Faith.

The government is coming! The government is coming! - Folks we are losing our freedoms left and right and the government is enslaving us. President Obama campaigned on change, so far the only change I'm seeing is more of the same big government of the past but only at a faster clip. The printing presses are smoking and about to light the dollar on fire and destroy it.

But I learned this week that the Volunteerism plan, which they are attempting to make mandatory (irony for you) tells those enlisted that they can not share their faith.

I read about it on a blog called The Final Hour.

HR 1388 Bans National Service Participants From Sharing Christ

Following the overwhelming passage of "The Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act" by the House of Representatives last week, the U.S. Senate voted 74 to 14 on a procedural move that essentially guarantees that a mandatory national service bill will be passed by the Senate.

"National service" sounds great until you realize exactly what is in this bill. The House version of this bill includes a provision that bans all national service participants from being involved in any form of evangelism.

You need to take action against this. Light up the phone lines of your Senators and Congressman. Flood their offices with mail decrying this violation of free speech.

This G.I.V.E. (Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education) program reminds me so much of Hitler's Youth indoctrination. You don't think such a thing could happen here? You obviously haven't read your Bible.

India | Mob Attacks Christian Missionaries.

They hate you because of me - I just got this via eMail and felt the need to post it before heading to bed.

Mob Brutally Attacks Missionaries

/Christian Newswire/ -- A large mob of anti-Christian extremists brutally attacked two Gospel for Asia-supported missionaries in Himachal Pradesh, India, on Saturday, March 14. After stripping them naked and beating Murari Jay and Atul Rajesh, the vicious group burned all their belongings and then had the missionaries arrested.

The mob of about 30 people barged into the place where Murari and Atul were staying. Humiliating the missionaries, the group tore the men's clothes off and beat them. Murari sustained severe injuries to his back after mob members repeatedly kicked him, and Atul suffered acute head trauma. Other members of the mob set fire to everything the missionaries owned.

Something Stinks in Washington, D.C.

I can smell it down here in Florida - Has it bothered anyone else how the rhetoric coming from President Obama's administration suddenly went from "the sky is falling" to "everything is going to come up roses"? It has me. And then at the start of this week it President Obama switched gears again and fired salvos at AIG for giving out legally contracted bonuses.

Oh, and if you think that the administration and the rest of our Congress is right in the blame they're placing on AIG, think again. They are complicit and are merely using this as a smoke screen to direct the swell of anger that is growing in America toward the way they are treating America's future with irresponsible spending and jumps toward a slave state of socialism.

The Real AIG Outrage

The politicians also prefer to talk about AIG's latest bonus payments because they deflect attention from Washington's failure to supervise AIG. The Beltway crowd has been selling the story that AIG failed because it operated in a shadowy unregulated world and cleverly exploited gaps among Washington overseers. Said President Obama yesterday, "This is a corporation that finds itself in financial distress due to recklessness and greed." That's true, but Washington doesn't want you to know that various arms of government approved, enabled and encouraged AIG's disastrous bet on the U.S. housing market.

Scott Polakoff, acting director of the Office of Thrift Supervision, told the Senate Banking Committee this month that, contrary to media myth, AIG's infamous Financial Products unit did not slip through the regulatory cracks. Mr. Polakoff said that the whole of AIG, including this unit, was regulated by his agency and by a "college" of global bureaucrats.

...And his agency wasn't the only federal regulator. AIG's Financial Products unit has been overseen for years by an SEC-approved monitor.

D.C. is practicing a common magician and pickpocketing trick: Misdirection.

And that stench? Well, don't worry. They're researching how to deal with the stink of pigs.

An Urgent Message of Impending Disaster.

Get Your Household Ready - In doing some client work this morning I happened to catch a twitter from one of the people that follows my client's twitter account. It was not from someone who is an active Christian but this person thought it worth questioning others about.

It is a message from David Wilkerson who says that the Holy Spirit has laid upon his heart a message that he must proclaim. The message?

I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to send out an urgent message to all on our mailing list, and to friends and to bishops we have met all over the world.

AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE - EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.

For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City. It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires—such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago.

There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting—including Times Square, New York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression. We are under God’s wrath.

But David Wilkerson is someone I respect. He's not what I could call a "spot-light-preacher." It is certainly something worth thinking considering in this day and age we find ourselves.

If you don't think it's possible, well, you are wrong. The end of days will be much like this and far worse. As it is, riots have occurred already in Western nations where banking and governments have failed. And just today Warren Buffet said in an interview on the financial news network that we were very close a total meltdown ourselves in the banking industry. We're not out of the woods there yet.

What should you do to be safe? As Pastor Wilkerson notes, it would be wise to stockpile a month supply of food and water.

Interestingly, before hearing about this message, over the weekend in prepping for leading my Bible study Sunday evening a scripture from Ephesians 5:15-16, jumped out at me and wouldn't let me go over the weekend.

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Bass Player for Korn Joins the Family of God.

    Korn’s bassist, Reginald Arvizu—who calls himself Fieldy—will release his book, “Got the Life: My Journey of Addiction, Faith, Recovery and Korn” on Tuesday.

How wonderful it is to know of new brother in Christ. Our Savior is wonderful and redeeming of all impurities making us whiter then snow and fit to be in the presence of God the Father!
