African Anglicans Prepare for Spilt Over Sin of Homosexuality.

Stand Firm - Stephen Mbogo reports for CNSNews.com that the Anglican Church in Africa is making moves which are the start for a process of splitting the Anglican Communion.

Church leaders in Kenya have signed a document on the Anglican Global Initiative (AGI), which envisages the churches forming a new communion separate from American, Canadian and European churches supporting homosexual ordinations and same-sex "marriage."

As was stated by a pastor, one can not embrace sin.

A bed of suffering awaits. - In blindness the U.S. Episcopalian Church is claiming that they have seen the light of God in the sin of homosexuality.

Jill Lawless reports for the AP (Yahoo!® News):

The U.S. Episcopal Church on Tuesday affirmed its support for gay clergy, and appealed for the contentious issue not to split the 77 million-strong Anglican Communion.

"We believe that God has been opening our eyes to acts of God that we had not known how to see before," the church said in a document prepared for the Anglican Consultative Council. It affirmed "the eligibility for ordination of those in covenanted same-sex unions."

'Acts of God'! Wow. What I think is actually happening here is the God is giving them over to their lusts and blindness.

My advice to my true brothers and sisters in the U.S. Episcopalian body is to remain strong in the Lord and not to buckle to the schemes of Satan in their denomination. If split is what you must do to remain pure then split.

And you best stand clear of these Jezebels for God has cast His judgement for such as these.

Tolerance is a one way street to hell. - This is an "I told you so" moment.

In my previous post here, on the upcoming day of Silence in our Nations public school system - something designed to make us all feel so horrible for calling sin 'sin' - it was noted that some students were planing a counter day where they would do nothing but wear T-shirts expressing their feelings on the subject. To which I wrote:

I'm sure that will go over well. In fact I won't be surprised if there aren't some schools who attempt to squelch it.

The New Episcopal USA Church Religion: Paganism.

Jezebel. - First it was the condoning and promoting of the sin of homosexuality, now it appears the Episcopal Church in the USA is seeking out other gods to worship.

Ted Olsen has a post on his weblog on ChristianityToday with the title, "Episcopal Church Officially Promotes Idol Worship."

Olsen begins:

Imagine for one moment that you're a leader in the Episcopal Church USA. You know that within the next few days, a global commission is going to release a report on how the global Anglican Communion should respond to your church, and is likely to be critical of the ordination of an actively homosexual man as bishop. You know, and have said yourself, that the debate isn't just about sexuality: It's about how one views the Bible. And you know that all eyes will be on your denomination over the next few weeks. What do you do?

What the real leaders of the Episcopal Church did was to take an action that makes ordaining a homosexual man as a bishop almost a non-issue. They started promoting the worship of pagan deities.

What's this about? It's about the Episcopal Church's Women's Ministry's resource website that offered a Woman's Eucharist not focusing on Christ but instead focused on the pagan deity, the Queen of Heaven.

Olsen notes that the Eucharist was taken almost in its entirety from a rite of the present day Druid clan - Tuatha de Brighid. Their rite is titled, "A Celebration of the Divine Feminine in A Eucharist to our Mother Goddess."

Two Episcopal Parishes Split from U.S Episcopal Church.

Let the exodus continue. - LifeSiteNews.com is reporting that two Episcopal Parishes in LA, CA made the decision to cut the cords connecting them to the U.S. national Episcopal Church:

Two Episcopal parishes in the diocese of Los Angeles have cut all ties to the U.S. national Episcopal church, criticizing the latest move by the national assembly to approve the election of openly homosexual Gene Robinson as bishop of New Hampshire.

All Saints Church in Long Beach and St. James Parish in Newport Beach have announced a decision to place themselves under the authority of a conservative Anglican bishop from Africa.

The two California churches, along with as many as 100 other concerned parishes in the U.S., also decry the U.S. General Convention's decision to authorize local bishops to solemnize same-sex unions.

Anglican Africans about to Turn Down $Million$ from American Episcopalians.

Suffering for Christ? - The leaders of the Anglican Church in Africa are on the verge of severing financial ties with the American Episcopalian Churches and missionaries who are pressing and supporting the sin of homosexuality for bishops.

Stephen Mbogo writes for CNSNews.com:

Meeting in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, the churchmen said they would start by cutting ties with the Trinity Wall Street Church in New York City, which distributes millions of dollars in grants worldwide and supports projects in Africa.

"Africans are committed to giving up significant sources of funding" unless the U.S. churches concerned repented of their stance, said the head of the Kenyan Anglican Church, Archbishop Benjamin Nzimbi.

Mbogo reports that meeting in Nairobi also included Anglican Church members from Latin American, Asia, and the Caribbean.

Mbogo quotes Archbishop Peter Akinola of Nigeria, saying:

"We will not, on the altar of money, mortgage our conscience, mortgage our faith, mortgage our salvation."

AMEN!

They are on the verge of setting a great example of faith and righteousness for the rest of the Church throughout the world.

New Anglican Network Formed to Oppose Episcopal Church U.S.A.

Fighting Sin in the Church - It isn't a split from the American Anglican church, but a group of parishes and dioceses have formed what is being called a new network that hopes to combat the heresy being promoted by the American Episcopalian branch (ECUSA) of the Anglican Church. The heresy being the raising to Bishop of a man practicing the sin of homosexuality and the apparent endorsement by the ECUSA for the sin of homosexuality.

On Crosswalk.com, Jim Brown and Fred Jackson of Agape Press, write:

Pittsburgh's Bishop Bob Duncan says the Network of Anglican Communion Dioceses and Parishes was established at a November meeting of mainstream Anglican leaders in London, and was formed to spread the truth about the Episcopal Church's approval of V. Gene Robinson, the openly homosexual Bishop of New Hampshire.

"The Episcopal Church this summer told a huge lie," Duncan says, "and we need to say over and over again what holy scripture says, what God expects in terms of His creation and the way He structured families, and the holiness He calls us to in terms of how we live our lives."

At heart, I think there is a desire on the part of this new network to seek the redemption of their brothers and sisters in a corrective manner. But I wonder if a split wouldn't be a better means to that end? Perhaps not. It just seems to me that there is no desire of repentance by the ECUSA because they clearly are ignoring Scripture.

Anglican Bishop Closes Church as an Endorsement to the Sin of Homosexuality.

Who Cares What God Says? - Four days before Christmas The Episcopalian Bishop Michael Ingham, of Canada, closed the doors of Holy Cross in Abbotsford because they would not endorse the sin of homosexuality.

Reverend James Wagner, who pastored the church and is now basically excommunicated by the bishop, held Christmas day services for his small flock in his home.

Julia Duin of The Washington Times reports that the church is one out of ten churches in Bishop Ingham's oversight who opposes the Anglican Denomination's new policies on same-sex marriages. It is also the smallest.

Duin reports Rev. David Short, rector of a larger church body and one of the ten still holding with scripture, as saying:

"We are reluctant dissidents.... We have become increasingly convinced the umbrella of the Anglican Church is over two different religions. We put the blessing of same-sex unions in the same category as idolatry. It's saying that what the Scriptures and the church have condemned for centuries is positive and blessed by God."

I'm reminded of a scripture found in Revelation where Christ sends a message to the church in Pergamum.

“And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, [even] where Satan’s seat [is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas [was] my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [it].” (Revelation 2:12-17 AV)

Caribbean Anglicans Side with God's Word.

Where the Son is Shining - More news on what the U.S. Anglican Communion is doing to the rest of the body with their refusal to acknowledge God and His Holy Word.

Colin James reports for the AP:

"Leaders of Caribbean Anglicans said the consecration of the first openly gay bishop in the United States violates Scripture and warned of "overwhelming" international opposition.

...

"...[Archbishop Drexel Gomez of the Bahamas] said that previous meetings with church leaders from Africa, South America, South East Asia and India convinced him they 'don't support what took place in America ... and they represent over 50 million of the 70 million Anglicans across the globe.' There are about 300,000 Anglicans in the Caribbean.

"'It is quite clear that over two-thirds of the (church) provinces will have not only strong objection but overwhelming objection,' he said.

"In the United States, Episcopal conservatives are moving toward a complete break with their church."

Continuing to develop as the days go by and the coming of Christ grows nigh.
