What Can this Video Teach Us about Oursleves?

God's Best - I saw this video last week and it reminded me of the principle of delayed gratification. It's a principle our society does not practice on the whole and not practicing it continues to lead us down an easy path away from God the Father.

It's a fun video to watch and one I had laugh at, but consider today how our culture teaches that we should give into our passions in life for things like fast money, sex, and success. Take the short cuts the world says. "Why wait? Here's your birth control. You're going to do it anyway." That's a lie from Satan. God tells us to wait for His best. He's provided us the principles to living a life of passion and purity that I believe is so much more better than what the world offers.

So true it's funny. - I don't tend to watch a lot of Saturday Night Live stuff, but when I saw this via a twitter I just had to post it.

Don't get stung! - I all ready have twice. But not in this video I shot yesterday. These bees are actually quite calm and easy going. I was originally going to post this to a private group but figured why not share it here on my weblog. So if you don't recognize names that's because it wasn't originally meant for you. =)

What Obama and McCain say about Life.

Watch this. - I think the most frightening comment to me was from Obama. He considers children a punishment if a girl gets an unwanted pregnancy.

Be afraid, be very afraid. - I found this video via Drudge Report.

The headline was a bit provactive, "Obama kids sing for dear leader." But I was like, "So what?" It's not unusual for politicians to have kids sing for them when they show up at events.

So I clicked over to see what the big deal was all about. Here's the video:

It's not so much that they were singing for Obama. They are sing of Obama. It reminded me instantly of Hitler's Youth program and the children that monster had singing in propaganda and adoration of him. That's truly scary to me, that someone would raise a fallen man to such heights. I write fallen in the Biblical sense. Ie, sinful, like me, and needing of the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ, the only means unto heaven - something that Obama has stated he doesn't believe.

I also couldn't help but think as I looked upon these young children, that given Obama's stance on infanticide that they are very lucky to be alive.
